Since 1949, Optimist Youth Football and Cheer has been touching lives, giving families and children a place to grow and learn together in an atmosphere of fun, while learning the importance of the fundamentals of football.
As a non-profit volunteer organization, we’re celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2024. In that time, Optimist Youth Football has seen more than 70,000 young players come through the program.
And this year we’ve added an exciting new program; Girls Flag Football!
For 75 years, we’ve have strived to make the experience for participants, coaches, and fans the best it can be, while keeping fees affordable. OYF never turns kids away because of inability to pay.
